why do some oliver 60 row crops have front wheels out front and some are more underneath |

The wide front axle was an option. It's main advantage is that it makes the tractor more stable than the narrow front. It's disadvantages were extra cost and it could get in the way of some front mounted equipment, and the narrow front had a shorter turning radius. Wide fronts for the Oliver 60 are not very common, so they can cost quite a bit more money. |
