What years was the 2255 made with the 3208 cat engine?

According to the parts book, they started putting 3208's in at serial number 248722 and up. This was sometime during the 1974 production year. The last 2255 rolled off the line in 1976. It was the last tractor to roll off the line bearing the Oliver name.

I had the joy of unloading and setting up a new 2255 to plow with a 6-14 Oliver plow in early summer of 1974. The farmer I was working for had a 1955T, got tired of the ever 50 hour break downs. What a tractor it was. The next day I was plowing wheat stubles, got off to walk around and check thing over and saw I was plowing a good 12 inchs or more deep (some was red clay). That 225 didn"t even know the plow was back there. Also I will never forget the smell of the paint getting warmed up on the engine for the first time.
