I am restoring a 57 super 55. It is nearly done however I keep blowing the Orings out of the oil pump. It dosent blow them untell I stroke the remote valve. I assume that the relief valve is high? Any comments? |

What are you using for an external valve? The ones that came as original equipment had a relief valve built in. If you put on an after-market valve, it has to have some kind of relief valve or it will do just what you are telling about. If you have the original Vickers valve, you'll have to take the plate off the end of it and remove a plug to get the relief valve out. Then disassemble the relief valve and remove some shims to lower the pressure. |

I FOUND IT!! Someone at some time had the remote valve apart and installed the relief valve in backwards!! Now it should work!? |

Saw the great looking 1755 with cab in the Summer Show Tipton, Indiana photos. This cab looks like it may fit my 2255. Would like to know the tractor owners name and the brand of cab. Thanks William Scott wrsfarms@planters.net |

That is a Hiniker cab. I don't think Hiniker is in the cab business anymore. But they are still in business. Check out their web page at http://www.hiniker.com I'm not sure as to who owns that 1755. Maybe they'll see this. |
