I just purchased an oliver 880 and was checking fluid levels. I'm unable to find a "dip stick" for the transmission oil. Is there one or how would you recommend checking the proper transmission fluid level.

There is a pipe plug just in front of the right hand brake housing. Screw that out, and the oil level should at the bottom of it, or just flowing out. If it needs more, there is a fill hole in front of where the shift lever enters the transmission.
