Does anyone know if there is a source where you can request the build sheets for the tractors that were produced at the Charles City Factory? I know John Deere offers this service for a fee. Is this also available for Olivers? I have a White 2270 and am interested in information about the production of the MM/Oliver G1355 and Oliver/ White/ Cockshutt 2270. specifically the serial number and model/ brand designations of the first 6 tractors off the assembly line. | ||

Yes there is, the Floyd County Museum in Charles City, Iowa. You can call them at 641-228-1099 M-F 9 to 4 central time with your serial number. If it was built in Charles City after 1954, there should be a build card for it. You'd probably have to get the info for all 6 to see how they were built. There is a fee for the service, but well worth it in my book. |
