thanks for the reply chris, how much do you want for it? I live in central Maine, shipping and all might be more than the whole tractor value??? my zip code is 04427 Corinth Maine. Is this piece all off? How much would you say it weighs? and is yours off a super 66? am i right by thinking this would be stronger then the 66 ? Thank you

I'd sell it for $100. It is on a Super 66 parts tractor. I'd have to take a few things off to get the frame off. There were actually 4 different front frames for the Super 66, band I'd think they would all be stronger than a Fleetline, although the Fleetline frame usually held up fine.

According to the old parts price list I have, it weighs 260 pounds, so it would have to go truck freight, who knows how much that might be. It would easily go in the back of a pickup truck.

I've got the frame removed from everything else, and it should be ready to ship. Any luck on your end? I've been looking and truck freight is going to be over $300.

Have you tried www.uship.com?

i got a quote from yellow freight (transportation) and they have a terminal in coldwater. 260 lbs would be $225.38 and if it weighs 300 lbs it will be $265.15 they require it to be on a pallet for forklift handling. also taking mine apart i noticed the wishbone mount for the front end broken, if you have one you want to sell, i would be interested in that to.

Coldwater is about 60 miles one way from here, that would run me around $40 in fuel, plus eat up about 3-4 hours out of my day. They will pick up here for another $75, and I have a forklift, so that isn't a problem. Their weight will include the pallet, so it is going to be closer to 300 than to 260. Also, what shipping class did you use? The online quote I got was $369.31 without local pickup and $44.81 with pickup.

I'm guessing that yours is a wide front, mine was a narrow front. Can't help you out there with the mount.

I took some pictures of the frame.

flanges

mounting pads

rad mount

whole piece

I'll hit it with the power washer before I put it on a pallet. If you want close-ups of any spot on the frame, just let me know.

Let me know if you get that other frame.

Scott,

Sounds good. I got your check, and I also found a nice small pallet to put it on. It will be Monday or Tuesday before I can take the time to run it down to Coldwater. I'll let you know when I get it shipped.

I have to say, everybody I talked to or dealt with at Yellow was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Hope it goes well on your end.
