A 1755 is simple, just hook it up. The 1850 can be done as well, but some adjustments need to be made to make it work correctly. |

Chris: When you convert the 1850 to single acting you need to loosen the screw by your foot which dumps the oil to the 3 point. |

I have had good luck without loosening that screw, so that the 3 point still works. You just have to back out I believe what is called the interlock screw in the top cover a turn or so. I think it has to be the right lever, but I'd have to look it up in the book to be sure. I have done this on my 1655 to run my hay mower, having a double acting on one circuit, and the single on another, and my 3 point still works fine. I'll try to look it up while I am in the work shop today, before I head to the field. |

On the 1655 & 1555 you can back out the interlock bleed screw to get single acting hydraulics as Chris said. Our Terrain King bat wing (what a p.o.s.)had single acting cyl's for both lift and fold so had both sides of 1555 switched, and could still run 3pt. Remove tall cap & back it out 3 full turns, then I used a jam nut to lock the screw, then put the caps back on. |
