Does the chain that connects the driveline on the farm tractors need to be oiled. I looked and did not see any grease points. |

No: Experience taught us that if you oil them they pick up soil particles when used in the field and the soil particles (dust) will speed up the ear process. |

Should say wear not ear in the post above. Key item is they need to line up front half and back half. What size tractor do you have? |

1550 deisel. I was just looking at it and it looked dry that is why I asked. What is the name for that particular part? |
