Does the chain that connects the driveline on the farm tractors need to be oiled. I looked and did not see any grease points.

No: Experience taught us that if you oil them they pick up soil particles when used in the field and the soil particles (dust) will speed up the ear process.

Should say wear not ear in the post above. Key item is they need to line up front half and back half. What size tractor do you have?

1550 deisel. I was just looking at it and it looked dry that is why I asked. What is the name for that particular part?
