I have a 1550 Oliver that the PTO is running all the time. Does anyone have a idea on what could possiblely be broke. Thought there might be clutch problems or a brake problem. Hate to tear it all apart unless I have too. | ||

You have a good question, but the 1550 was available with two different PTO's The single speed unit with a dry clutch and the dual speed unit with a wet clutch. I am guessing you have the dual speed unit and you have some warped clutch disks. But before I explain this all you better us which PTO you have. Describe how many bolts hold the clutch cover on to start with. ( number and size of bolts) |
