I recently purchased a Super 55 with a missing serial number plate. The engine numbers are 180220E, 1L100B, and D11955, and the transmission number is 1E-2001A. The gas cap is under the hood and the tractor is a 6 volt with a push petal starter. Can someone please help me with the tractor year? The PTO lever is located forward of the brakes, was that standard, an option, or a possible modification? Thanks for the help. |

O. K. I think you have a 1956 tractor, Look on the right side and the engine number will be stamped in the right rear pad on the block. The other numbers you gave are all casting numbers. The PTO handle is a modification It was an option durring the time of the 550 tractor. |
