Have to get rid of my 1956 (best guess) Oliver crawler/loader. The OC-46 is a 5,000 pound machine. The factory installed Ward loader arms can lift the 5/8 yard loader bucket over 10 feet - also comes with a dozer blade as well. This is a 4 cylinder gasoline powered machine with a Hercules IXB-3 motor. Good compression (105 to 110 psi on all 4) on the motor. I got it as a restoration project but I need to be able to work now, so I need to sell this and rent modern equipment. The carburetor is new (I got it without one) as are the plug wires, and the extra magneto (both work). The starter probably needs a rebuild - it does not turn the motor over much at all (I've abused it). I have had it running, although I have not had a chance to get full power out of it. Probably needs the valves adjusted (I tried, but it did not seem to make a difference to me). I've got shop and operator's manuals (reprints) to go with it, and the hood (it is not on in some of the pictures). Hydraulics work - new fluids, changed a few hoses, when it is running it will lift the front end off the ground. Clutch is good, steering brakes good, transmission is good - but.... whomever had it before me put the differential in backwards and reverse goes forward, 1st through 4th go backwards, and you have to remove the final drives to turn it over so I haven't done it.

Pretty firm on the price - as I have seen OC-3 machines that don't even turn over for more. If you have the patience (and big wrenches) to flip the differential and can tune up the old motor, you would have a nice toy, or a good farm dozer/loader. Or drop a little Datsun motor into it and go move some serious dirt. The Hercules motor is about 25 hp (high torque, of course - it IS a tractor motor).

Delivery can be arranged for a reasonable amount (gas money) if you don't have a macho trailer or truck and don't want to rent one. I'm not driving TOO far.... I would hope to keep it within just a few hundred miles max.
