Well, 35 years after I left the family farm for college and "the good life", I find myself sorting through my recently deceased Dad's machinery inventory.

He has an Oliver Grain Drill with metal wheels. It is an 8 foot drill, and it seems to be in very good condition...original paint and lettering substantially intact, seed boxes very clean, mechanical parts all operable.

I am looking for some help as to whether we have something of collector value here. This was my grandfather's drill originally. It has always been shedded.

How do I determine how old the drill is?

Based on my pedestrian description, any estimates on what the drill may be worth.

Thanks everyone!
