Does anyone have a diagram of how to thread a 520 baler? I just got one, and while fooling around I popped the twine out of the knotters and needles. Thanks Ron |

I don't have a diagram, but it's pretty easy. The two strings need to go from the twine box, through the string tensioner, through the insulator/string guide by the box, then to the insulator guide near the rear of the needles. From there, each twine needs to go to the front of each individual twine guide in front of the needles. The twine needs to go through the front of the guides, then through the needles, and then take the end and tie it onto the frame somewhere behind the needles, it doesn't really matter where. Set the knotter trip to where it is just about to go off, and go bale some hay. The first one won't be tied, but it should be a short one since the knotter trip was moved up. Everything should be all set from there. |
