Help! I just got my grandfather's walking behind corn planter. I need to know if any of you good folks can tell me about this planter and where I might be able to find a picture of it and of course the original paint colors. I have found by scrapping layer upon layer off the rusted out hoppers that is was green and in yellow lettering had No.6 Oliver Superior on it. I just need to know what colors the rest is suppose to be and if the handles where painted or left natural. In fact it could be used if we could find the 2 hoppers. Everything else looks good and in fact you can push it and all the bearings and gears turn. I would like to if there is a manual. I also have 2 walk behind plows an Oliver 40SB & a 19SB. Does anyone know what they are supposed to be painted? Thanks Lisa Leatherman (lisalleatherman@wmconnect.com) |
