Hi I am currently restoring my 1938 Cockshutt Hart-Parr 80 which as you know is a rebadged Oliver 80. Now I already know prior to 1940 the were the same colour of Green as the Oliver 80 but what colour should the wheel rims be Orange or Red?. I have has a few replies to a previous post stating the wheels should be orange but I am having trouble convincing my father as he is adamant they should be red in colour as we have a book compiled but the International Cockshutt Club which states the they where shipped as green and Red until mid 1939. Despite having received a reply from a member of that club saying they were Orange Can anyone provide me with some more information. Here is links to photos of the tractor http://www.smarttractors.co.uk/chp80/2575.html http://www.smarttractors.co.uk/chp80/3081.html http://www.smarttractors.co.uk/chp80/3082.html http://www.smarttractors.co.uk/chp80/3087.html http://www.smarttractors.co.uk/chp80/3088.html Can someone supply pics of an early Cockshutt Hart-Parr 80 showing the decals with won"t have the maple leaf I believe. I also require photos of the light switch position and how the battery should be secured pics of the bracket/fixing etc. Any other pictures of another 1938 Cockshutt Hart-Parr 80 would be most welcome.
