I just purchased a super 55 ($1400) which from descriptions on your forum is probably a 1957 or 1958 model. There is no visible serial number tag in the described location (near the clutch pivot on the left side)or any sign of one ever having been secured there. Were they rivetted or bolted on? Are there any other locations I should be checking? This tractor appears to have been an industrial model as under all other paint it is universally yellow. It is also afflicted with a non disengaging PTO. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. |
