To PStanley@shaw.ca or anyone that can help me. I have an old 1955 oliver super 77 tractor, s/n 327358C-77D with a wide front end; 6 cyl engine. It has been converted to 12v along the way. The alternator is loose, brackets are gone, also need a water pump pully and a wiring diagram bad. Can u tell me where I can acquire these items?? Thanks, Tom |

First of all if you have an alternator, the factory wiring diagram will not help. Wires go different places and one needs to be a lot larger. I need to know if it gas or diesl and what kind of alternator you have. Also if it is a Delco set up for single wire or not. Next thing the serial number you gave is for a 52 model 77 at leat going by numbers in my head. It is not a super with that serial number. Now do you still have the two pulleys on the water pump? Start with me there. John |

John Schwiebert Gas Engine, Delco Alternator, 2 wire (1 black, 1 white, both same diameter, +/- 16 ga.) middle connect, plus a Plus (+) and Minus (-) connector posts on perimeter, opposite sides. And no, I do not have the pulleys on the water pump, only the 4-blade fan. The only other belt pully that I have (adjustable width)is on the bottom, below the water pump, on the engine. I got the year model and "super" designation from a farmer in Colorado a long time ago, so I accept what u say. Where on the tractor can I verify the serial number? Thanks, Tom |
