what do you run for small baler twine? i'm going to use 9000 plastic this year, some have told me to use 7200. i have a 60t oliver baler. |

We never run any lighter than the 7200, but we also had a thrower on our NH baler. If you're going to change size of twine inspect all the places that the twine runs, as there might be grooves where the smaller twine ran that would eat up the thicker twine. I do take it that your talking about the 7200 sisal. I don't recall if there was a 7200 plastic or not, but it would still be thicker than the 9000. Was to young to remember the Oliver baler that Dad had, but on the NH they had certain part numbers in the knotter that were for plastic and others for sisal. |
