I am trying to find out how many or at what serial number Oliver started painting the regular rear rims white. I know there were probably only a few of the first 1958's that had the red rears. These would probably have been rims from the inventory of the super 55's. As you all know the first year or so of the 550's retained the 144 cube engine that was used in the super 55. If any one has a 1958-550 with regular rear rims please e-mail me with your serial. Especially if yours has red rear rims!!! Thanks |
