I went to a consignment auction this weekend near Coldwater, Ohio that had a no. 5 1 row picker. Decals on it to looked to be mid 1950 - ish. Had been shedded and had very straight metal, snouts were not banged up.Just needed cleaned off and oiled up. Streacker Implement decal clearly visible (Minster, Ohio) Two rings at the sale, and I happened to be at the other one buying a truck toolbox when this sold, of course. I am kicking myself, $150 is what she brought I was told.

I would have paid that for it. I've been in the same boat, but at an auction with 3 rings running. Seems like I always end up at the wrong one.
