HAVE SEVERAL PAIRS OF SPINDLES FOR 55'S & 550'S---THE RIGHT SIDE IS PART # 1E713 WHICH IS OFF SET BETWEEN THE CAST PART & THE SPINDLE---THE LEFT SIDE IS # 1EA714 WHICH IS STRAIGHT BETWEEN THE CAST PART & THE SPINDLE--THESE PAIRS CAME OFF THE SAME TRACTORS--MY QUESTION IS WHY WAS ONE SIDE OFF SET?---DOES IT HURT ANYTHING OR AFFECT STEERING TO RUN IT THIS WAY?---THANKS FOR YOUR HELP--MY EMAIL IS OPEN |

It will throw the steering off, but you might be able to compensate by shortenting/lengthening the tie rods. If memory serves, one tie rod is normally longer than the other, but they may not have enough threads to adjust out to do what you want. As long as your toe-in is correct, you shouldn't have a problem. |
