Hi, I have a cousin who is looking at buying an Oliver 1550 with a front loader on it. The seller has rebuilt the engine, replaced the clutch, press plate, generator, and a few other things. It is very nice looking and only has 3100 hours on it! I've seen some decent 1555's that are farm-used, but this one blows them out of the water! Does anyone have any idea on what kind of price range is fair? Please lmk. Also, is there anything common to look for on these models that could be a potential issue? LMK. I can email pics of it for reference. My email addy is bigapple14@comcast.net. Thanks for your help! Jim |

Gas or diesel? The biggest problem area has to be where the drawbar frame bolts to the rear end casting. The bolts will come loose and break off, and/or wear the holes out. |
