Hello,

I am having an issue with my Oliver 1855 diesel with hydra-power. It is losing all power when challenged with any kind of pull. This could be going up an incline with nothing attached, pulling a wagon on a flat surface, etc... It loses all power and stops moving completely. If you wait for 1 to 3 minutes it gains back power and starts going again. At the same time, the 3-point arms don't drop completely either. Am I needing to replace something? If so, what would that be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

First if it has a sediment bowl under the tank take the glass off and make sure it has a full flow of fuel, if yes then change both fuel filters. If neither of these fix it the next time it acts up shut it off immediately and crack the bleeder plug on the pump and see if the fuel is foamy. If it is then it probaly is sucking air somehere. Had a John Deere backhoe that would do same thing, had a small hole in line between tank and fuel pump. Could also be a weak fuel pump, but would check first 3 things first.
