I was planning for the trip now that schools winding down and I have my report cards done. It looks like a 58 hour drive according to mapquest. Wife is getting cold feet.....she has a class this summer that might be tight getting back to on time. Dang nab it. The secondary show is a bit closer, but falls right on our nephews wedding. Well, I hope to see you in Penfield, but it's 50/50 right now. | ||

Better leave the Mrs home!!! She'll just tell you not to buy that Oliver that you will find for sale. Seriously though, I understand scheduling conflicts. My brother decided to get married the same day as the Oliver Gang's Fun and Plow day this year. What was he thinking?? I hope you can make it to Penfield, it sounds like it is going to be one heck of a show. If not, I'll be taking lots of pictures and adding them to the photo album. | ||

I got lucky. We decided to see if we could book a flight to Indianapolis at such a late date with our air miles. Turns out we'll be flying down. Looks like I'll have to put that Super 55 I'll be winning in my carry on. | ||

If your wife is the one who needs to be home quickly, let her fly and you just DRIVE the 550 home. You can always leave it with me in Illinois. Now just a minite here that tractor is headed to eastern canada !!!! Far closer for me to take it home and I can stop at Chris"s to rub it in too!!!!! You can see a lot of country driving home 500 miles on back roads!!! |
