I have a 1465 diesel that the fuel gauge worked fine this winter, but now that the weather is warming up it is not working again. Is it the sending unit? Where can I get one? Installation tips?

Could be the sending unit, could be the gauge, could be a blown fuse. Take the wire off the sending unit and touch it to the frame (ground it). This should make the gauge read completely full or completely empty. If the gauge reading doesn't change with that wire grounded, then it is the gauge, if the gauge moves, it is the sending unit. Also, check the wire that hooks to the sending unit for breaks and where it might be grounded out somewhere.
Call Maibach's at 330-939-4192, they should be able to get you going with the parts you might need.
